In November of 2018, Nina was part of the documentary series 'New Generation' by the NTR (Dutch TV) that focusses on young new talents in the Netherlands, together with her collegues Lilian Vieira and Anna Serierse.

At a very young age Nina sang in a youth choir and played the violin. Years later while having private singing lessons she got more and more interested in Jazz.
During high school she studied for two years at the Junior Jazz College on 'het Conservatorium van Amsterdam' and she played the violin for numerous years in 'Het Noord Hollands Jeugd Orkest' (youth orchestra).
In 2013 she started with the Bachelor program at het Conservatorium van Amstedam. Some of her teachers were Humphrey Campbell, Lydia van Dam, Lieve Geuens, Wiebe-Pier Cnossen and Lilian Vieira. In 2017 she graduated.
Since then Nina had some memorable projects. In 2024 she won an Edison Jazz-Nationaal Vocaal, with her band Cantorias. She has recorded a live album as a band member of the Kika Sprangers Large Ensemble (nominated for Edison Nationaal Jazz) and was part of several other projects.
In the past years she has performed throughout the Netherlands in venues and festivals such as the BIMHUIS, Lantarenvenster, TivoliVredenburg, North Sea Jazz Festival ‘25, Transition Festival, and doing several collaboration with artists such as Thomas Azier, Pitou, the Koninklijk Orkest van de Luchtmacht and more.
She performed with Kobra, the Metropole Orkest and metal band 'Triptykon' at the Roadburn Festival, of this live performance an album was made.
